Addiction Counseling in Winston-Salem

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction of any kind counseling will often be necessary to become healthy again.  At Christopher John Counseling we help clients struggling with:

Unfortunately there is a strong stigma against those suffering with addiction. Good people fall into addiction and substance abuse and are often judged critically because of it.  Addiction is often the main problem or part of a problem between individuals, families, and couples.  People dealing with addiction often feel powerless against it.  Addiction counseling will help you explore the root cause of addiction and make a plan to help you recover.  We offer a supportive non-judgmental, no pressure atmosphere.

Our Philosophy for Addiction Therapy

At Christopher John Counseling we don’t adhere to any specific model of recovery (i.e. 12-step, AA, etc), but instead works closely with client’s to develop personalized goals.  Clients chose what their goals are, whether it is quitting completely or having a healthier relationship with the substance or behavior they are struggling with.  We’ll work hand-in-hand to identify the problem, therapeutic goals, and steps to successfully meet these goals.  Together we will look at all the therapeutic solutions (family/friend/community support, healthy replacement behaviors, 12-step work, exercise, etc) and see what fits best for each individual.  Whether you or your loved one are struggling with alcohol addiction, substance abuse, technology addiction etc., we can help.

Recovery Is Possible. We can help.

Chris is a Licensed Addiction Counselor and presently has over 4,000 hours of experience working with people suffering from addiction.  Addiction treatment can help you or your loved one, things can get better.  If you’re in the Winston-Salem, NC area or the State of Colorado and are struggling with any type of addiction, click the link below to schedule a free consult.  We’ll help you begin your journey to a happier, healthier you.
